Lincoln Way Traffic Shift Today; Eastbound Lane Closed from Marshall to Franklin

Starting today, the eastbound lane of Lincoln Way between Marshall and Franklin Avenues will be closed for pavement removal and replacement. This phase is expected to last seven to eight weeks, weather permitting.

As the shared-use path and new lighting are completed between Beedle and Dotson Drives, traffic control in that section will be removed. The southwest corner of Marshall Avenue and Lincoln Way will reopen today, while the southeast corner is set to close the second week of August for two weeks.

The shared-use path on the south side of Lincoln Way will be closed from Marshall Avenue to McFarland Clinic. Cyclists should use Beedle Drive to access the path south of Hy-Vee, and pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the north side of Lincoln Way.
