Iowa State Volleyball Team to Appear at Downtown Ames Farmers' Market
This Saturday, the Iowa State Volleyball Team will join the Downtown Ames Farmers' Market from 9 a.m. to noon. Fans are invited to wish the team luck for the upcoming season. The market, running from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will feature live music by Asphalt & Stained Glass.
Shoppers can enjoy a wide array of fresh-picked produce, baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, eggs, chocolate, mushrooms, homemade ice cream, and more. Don't miss this vibrant community event in beautiful Downtown Ames!
Look Up, Ames: Full Buck Moon This Weekend
Add sky-watching to your Sunday morning routine, Ames! The next full moon will occur on Sunday, July 21, at 5:17 a.m. Iowa time. Known as the Buck Moon, it marks the time when new bucks begin to grow their antlers. This full moon is also referred to as the Thunder Moon.
The National Weather Service forecasts a partly sunny Sunday with a slight chance of thunderstorms in Ames. While Saturday night may be mostly cloudy, the early morning hours of Sunday should offer a great view of the full moon.
Don't miss this celestial event. Look up and enjoy the beautiful sight of the Buck Moon in Ames this weekend!

ISU Sets Date for Fall Elite Camp
Iowa State is set to again host its annual Fall Elite Camp this August as it will be held in the Cyclone Sports Complex.
August's camp will take place across Aug. 16 and Aug. 17, is meant for players in grades 8-12 and will cost $298 per participant. Registration is open through August 15.
Head Coach Jamie Pinkerton and the Cyclone coaching staff will give high level instructions in a number of different environments. Attendees will have the opportunity to work with the staff in both practice and game settings as well as go through mental/visual training.
Campers will need to bring their own glove, shoes, bat/batting gloves, helmet, water bottle and lunch for the camp.

8:00-9:30 | Pitching and Catching
9:30-11:30 | Hitting
11:30-12:30 | Defense
12:30-1:30 | Lunch
1:30-3:00 | metrics/tour
3:00-5:00 | Scrimmages

Sage Rosenfels, one of the greatest quarterbacks in Iowa State history, is featured in the latest CyCast.
