Matt Campbell Nears Historic Milestone as Iowa State's Winningest Coach

Matt Campbell is on the verge of making Iowa State football history, needing just one more win to tie Dan McCarney’s record of 56 victories. Campbell's journey, marked by highs and challenges since his arrival in 2016, has shaped Iowa State into a consistent Big 12 contender. Despite setbacks, including a 3-9 start and a turbulent 2022 season, Campbell has led a resurgence, guiding the Cyclones to an undefeated start in 2024 and a No. 21 ranking.
