Jazz Night: The Zodiac—A Musical Journey Through the Stars

Prepare for a night of cosmic jazz as Estes Hall lights up with the legendary pickup line, “What’s your sign?” Jazz 2.0 and the ISU Jazz Combos will present a dazzling program inspired by all 12 astrological signs, featuring works by renowned composers Gary Bartz, Wayne Shorter, Marquis Hill, Chad Taylor, and Mary Lou Williams.

No. 8 Iowa State Edges Drake in 80-78 Thriller

Iowa State (5-1) secured a dramatic 80-78 victory over Drake (2-2), with Audi Crooks scoring the game-winning layup with 0.3 seconds left. Crooks led the Cyclones with 33 points and four rebounds, while Addy Brown, Emily Ryan, and Kenzie Hare also contributed double-digit points. The back-and-forth battle saw Iowa State rally in key moments, including a decisive final play to maintain their winning record.

Up Next: The Cyclones face No. 1 South Carolina on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. on FOX.

No. 22 Iowa State Defeats Utah, 31-28

Carson Hansen's late 3-yard touchdown run sealed No. 22 Iowa State's 31-28 victory over Utah. Rocco Becht threw for 256 yards and a touchdown, with Jayden Higgins adding 155 yards and a score on nine receptions. Iowa State (9-2, 6-2 Big 12) overcame a fourth-quarter Utah rally to keep their Big 12 title hopes alive.

The Cyclones host Kansas State on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 6:30 p.m.

Cyclones Finish Eighth at Hawkeye Invitational

The Cyclones wrapped up the Hawkeye Invitational with 14 finalists and four personal bests on the final day. Highlights included Madi Dohrn placing 15th in the 200 back and Emma Kuhn setting a personal best of 1:59.86. Abbi Crum and Anja Peck excelled in the 200 breast, finishing 13th and 15th, respectively. Winter Craig secured a top-five finish in the 200 fly at 2:02.20.

The Cyclones' divers shined, with five finishing in the top 24, helping edge past UNI. Coach Matt Leach praised the team's strong overall performance.

Up Next: The Cyclones return to Iowa City on December 13 for the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series dual meet.
