South Half of Lincoln Way and Franklin Avenue Intersection to Close Monday

The south half of the Lincoln Way and Franklin Avenue intersection will close for pavement removal and replacement on Monday, Aug. 5, for one week. East-west crosswalks remain open, but north-south crosswalks and ramps will be closed. Motorists should use alternate routes due to expected delays. Bicyclists and pedestrians should follow the signed detour route.

This is part of the ongoing Lincoln Way reconstruction project from Beedle Drive to Franklin Avenue, which includes utility improvements and a shared-use path reconstruction. For more information, visit the project video at www.CityOfAmes.org/LincolnWay.
